This esteemed accolade recognises exceptional leadership and innovation within the global hospitality sector. The IoH Annual Awards highlight individuals and organisations from the UK, Ireland, and Ghana who exemplify excellence and integrity, and Tony’s shortlisting reflects his ongoing commitment to advancing the industry through his personal investments, sustainable practices, community engagement and in delivering unparalleled guest experiences.
Tony Matharu has delivered over 2,500 hotel rooms and 1,750 jobs throughout London. And has been awarded Hotelier of the Year. He is a Fellow of ESCP Europe Business School and is a Freeman of the Company of Entrepreneurs, Tony recently expanded London’s latest independent hotel chain: Blue Orchid Hospitality under his Integrity International Group. Recognised for his outstanding contributions, Tony has received numerous accolades, including the Freedom of the City of London, and a Special Recognition Award for his Contribution to London’s Success and an Honorary Doctorate of Letters.
