What’s the Marble Arch Mound?

The Marble Arch Mound is a temporary installation and central London’s newest landmark. Designed by renowned Dutch architects MVRDV, the mound will be created from a scaffold covered with green landscaping and trees, which are intended to help offset some of the area’s heavy traffic pollution.

So why should you visit it? Well…

  1. Unparalleled views

The large viewing deck boasts 360-degree views of Hyde Park and Oxford Street the way they were meant to be seen: from up high.

  1. The project has plenty of social benefits

The Marble Arch Mound is creating jobs for Londoners, both in its construction and operation. Once dismantled, the trees and foliage will be distributed throughout the area to ensure the green benefits continue.

  1. More than a viewing platform

The Marble Arch Mound contains a hollowed out space in the middle of it, designed to be a cafe, shop and exhibition space all in one (sure to be one of the most popular and in-demand event venues in London while it is around).

  1. An entirely unique London experience

The 25 metre high platform gives a viewing opportunity like no other. Located just off Marble Arch, there’s no better way to view the surrounding area. You’d better go soon because...

  1. It’s only around until January 2022

The installation opens in June 2021 and closes the following year: January 2022. The exclusivity of the event has made tickets all the more popular- so be sure to snag yours while you still can!

Where to stay near the Marble Arch Mound

Marble Arch is located in one of the busiest districts in central London. At the end of Oxford Street and on the corner of central London’s largest park, Hyde Park, March Arch has its own underground station.
