All bookings are subject to availability. A reservation is confirmed once the hotel issues a confirmation number and the guest provides credit card details as guarantee. Cancellation policy: 72hrs prior to the date of arrival. Late cancellations will be charged as the total package value. Reservations for the spa/hairdressers/restaurants need to be confirmed in advance with the hotel. Blue Orchid Hotels reserve the right to amend or cancel this offer at any time. The immunity package is provided by Global Healthcare.
Blue Orchid Hotels have partnered with an accredited healthcare provider and laboratory, Global Healthcare, to provide testing for COVID-19. Test by Global Healthcare Medical Diagnosis are Abbott’s tests and have been evaluated for their accuracy by Public Health England.
The specificity of Global Healthcare’s antibody tests was evaluated as being 100% and the sensitivity of the tests was evaluated as being >97.5%. No test is 100% accurate and a negative test therefore does not rule out COVID-19 infection.
COVID-19 is a new virus and guidance on self-isolation and immunity is likely to change with updated government and healthcare advice. It is not yet known if the presence of antibodies provides immunity to COVID-19, or for how long any protective immunity may last. On receiving a negative test, government guidelines on social distancing and self-isolation must be adhered to.
